JWB Constructions Past Projects Focus: Gatton

The focus for this blog will be a project the JWB Constructions team completed in December 2018. The project involved replacement works, drain clearance and more. 

Gatton Project Overview

This fixed price project began in October 2018 and was completed in December 2018. The project included replacement of collapsed cross track drainage culvert works.The upgrade work included staging of works to install and then remove the existing culvert.

Over successive stages and scheduled track closures, the JWB Constructions team worked to replace the collapsed drain and reroute it through the newly installed culvert. The existing drain was also removed. You can find more information on this project on the JWB Constructions website here.

Scope of Works for the Gatton Project

The construction works for the Gatton project included:

• SRCBC Standard Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert installation
• Drainage route
• Drain clearance
• Existing collapsed asset removed
• Associated earthworks
